Thursday Art Date: ✨ Fairies ✨
Welcome my Friends, to Thursday's Art Date! ππ Today our theme is Fairies! The Tasmanian Devil certainly isn't the type of Tooth Fairy you want to wake up to in the middle of the night!
I have to make this post short unfortunately. Time is escaping me. Baby Oscar the cat had to go to the vet this week, he has a bladder infection, likely a UTI. It was a bit of an emergency because he was having trouble peeing. But...I'm blessed that he will survive, he's on a lot of meds though. It's monthly shopping week too! And I'm starting my window garden this weekend as well! What are you all up to?
I'll be catching up with everyone's blogs this weekend!!!
That's all for now folks! Please check out the link widget below for more "Fairies" creations! See you soon!!! π π

Hi. I remember seeing a Nature film of the work to protect the T Devil from extinction. They are good hunters but not really "evil". They were threatened because a form Face Cancer.
I'm sorry to read Oscar is under the weather. Poor little guy! I hate grocery shopping and I know your monthly excursions are an energy drainer. I remember when the kids were young and for a time, we could only go once a month. I good heaven what a chore that was to do shopping for 5-people. Our car was absolutely loaded down. Half of the truck filled, the other half had truck stuff, and the kids were covered with bags in their laps and floor board, and usually I had stuff in my lap. While everyone pitched in to get it into the house, it was usually me who put it all away because I knew where everything needed to go that best suited the way I did things. That made for a very long evening and I was always exhausted when it was all done.
I love Taz as the tooth fairy! You did a fabulous job. I certainly wouldn't want to wake to find that tooth fairy. lol Thanks for hosting the art date, my friend. Have a doodletastic week!
Tooth faeries are always a bit on the scary side. LOL You are always so busy. I wanted to put up the greenhouse today but it froze again last night. I couldn't even get my car out of the driveway due to the freeze. So, today is a bit of cleaning, art, and planting seedlings indoors. Hope you day is a good one.
Rain - hope Oscar makes a speedy recovery! My hubby and I are working on the mountain Friday and Saturday - only six working days left in the ski season! Somewhere in there, I will be composing my blog post, likely about celebrating my fifth anniversary of retirement! Enjoy your weekend!
Those are some big fairy Choppers! Glad your kitty is on the mend. How are food and gas prices and things doing up in your area? We went from $3.85 a gallon within two weeks to almost $4.50 a gallon. Glad I'm still working from home and don't have to commute!
Hope Baby Oscar heals up quick, Rain, good to see your weekly posts no matter the length. Taz's teeth are fabulously drawn and make me chuckle. Good week and happy shopping, xoxo
Hope Oscar will be feeling better soon after the vet visit and the meds. I know how worrisome his not feeling good must be for you, Rain. Hope the monthly shopping trip went well as it seems things are out of stock or higher priced or both on some of our recent outings. As for what we have been up to lately, just day to day things but my "big" thing has been getting rid of "stuff" that has been sitting around unused received as gifts (and unused) or just things we bought thinking they were a good idea and now thinking why? I have a box ready to go to a local thrift store and will be starting a second box as well so both can go this eek, yeah!.
I hope your kitty is doing better. I am sorry, though your devil makes me smile, super fun, I don't think he is a fairy. I bet he stole those wings from a sweet fae.
Hi Rain, I hope Oscar gets well soon. The Tasmanian Devil is one scary and crazy dude. Super art work, a great job. Take care and have a fantastic week.
