Hello Friends! 😊😊😊😊
Welcome to Thursday's Art Date, today our theme is Soft. Bugs Bunny is enjoying a nice bubble bath to make his skin and fur nice and soft! One thing I absolutely miss about living here is that I have NO BATH TUB!!! My bathroom is tiny and can barely fit the shower...one of these days I will get myself a hot tub!! 😊
Thinking of my grandfather today, he was a kind and soft-hearted gentleman! 💗
I have many bird feeders around the property and I find lots of feathers every time I go out.

Lovely take on 'soft' Rain! Great job on the feathers. The pizza dough looks good.
ReplyDeleteHI Rain, your feather artwork is lovely. I have a beautiful peacock feather - I was visiting my brother in the countryside a few years ago and said I wish I could have one and he drove me straight up the road to a farm with peacocks walking around and just picked one up off the road outside thier gate for me - just like that! I love seeing pictures of your pets - Jack just makes my heart melt in particular - he's wonderful. I hope you get that hot tub - I don't like sitting in water myself but do love a hot shower :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous blog post, have a great day, sorry, short comment, off to the doctor's!
ReplyDeleteBugs looks really happy in his bubble bath. I love the feather and I love the pizza dough, although at first, I thought it was fish. Got fish on my mind, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI'll be late this week because I simply HAD to pay homage to Veterans Day (poppy day in your world).
Bunnies bath reminded me of all those years I spent in a cold office. I used to take a hot bath every evening after work just to get warm.
ReplyDeleteLove your feather :)
Loving all the soft furbabies and bugs in the bath is cute. I love my bath, I couldn't do without one, sorry your bathroom is too small to fit one. Get one of those free standing ones and put it in another room, maybe one with a view? Elle/EOTC xx
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Thursday

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am like Bugs, I love soaking in the bathtub. Your pizza dough look delicious. Gorgeous sky and photo. Adorable photo of your furbabies. Take care, enjoy your day!
"Soft" should be easy for everyone, I would think. Softness is surely part of our daily existence, from "things" to feelings. As I compose this comment I can look over at at soft contour bird feathers on my bookshelf, and there is not much softer than that! Nor more beautiful actually.
ReplyDeleteI sooooo miss my big bath tub that I had in my home in Id. Great ideas for, "soft" Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteI like your drawing of Bugs in the bathtub. Speaking of tubs, I would like to get rid of ours and replace it with a walk in shower. That would be the life. I love the drawing of the feather too. It is so lifelike. :)
ReplyDeletei envy bugs for enjoying bubble bath lol
ReplyDeleteoh i liked the feather ,mom used to have peacock feather which we would keep in holy book i don't remember why ,they were really beautiful .

health ,peace and joy to you dear Rain and to all you love!
Ahhhhhh, there's nothing like a bubble bath, I agree! And Joyce of Octoberfarm is a force of nature!
ReplyDeleteLove your drawings, Rain 🤗 ...and of course the both Chow-Chow. We have had a Chow-Chow ❤
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. Stay healthy and well, dear Blogfriend 😘
Great post Rain - love seeing the doggies looking so adorable!
ReplyDeleteBugs B in the bath tub is cute. I still have one tub but don't sit in it (can't get up once down, lol!) just use the shower - and the other bathroom's tub was removed to make a big walk-in shower.
My current post has some beautiful statuary I viewed on Monday - Mexican artist Jorge Marin's bronzes have come to our city!
Have a great week dear - getting chilly your way I should imagine! Like me you will be cooking delicious winter recipes soon.
Hugs - Mary
We hung our flag out today - remembering so many.

...soft is a word that describe many things and you have some nice ones. But I like chewy pizza crust!
ReplyDeleteI like that over there in Canada you remember Remembrance Day. Do you know Rain that over here in Great Britain there are people who don't wish to remember Remembrance Day or to take a few minutes out to honour those who fought for the free speech they enjoy?
ReplyDeleteGood weather here for a hot bath! It was 27 degrees in the morning a few days ago brrr. Any snow up there yet looks kind of cold?
ReplyDeleteI think Bugs looks very comfortable in his bath-tub :)
ReplyDeleteLovely clouds over the Blueberry fields.
We shall remember them at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, and again on Remembrance Sunday.
God bless.
All the best Jan
Rain - Such a lovely poppy. My mother loves poppies, so I have a soft spot in my heart for them as well.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures of the skyline is beautiful - also, I am betting based on the time of year, cold.
Super blog
ReplyDeleteI like your cartoon of the bubble bath. It has been years, decades, since I last had one. LOL. I guess it is hard for me to get out of the tub, especially if it is slippery. So, I take showers.
ReplyDeleteBugs is a softie who knows how to relax. Great post, Rain!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful videos are adorable, the two of them Rain.
ReplyDeleteBugs sure does look comfortable in that bubble bath, Rain. And, it made me think how long it's been since I enjoyed one myself. The feather is lovely and the popy was a nice tribute to your grandfather as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful drawing of the feather you have made.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can enjoy your bubble bath soon.
I wish you a nice weekend.
Greetings Irma
Bugs Bunny looks happy in the bubble bath. Lovely tribute to your grandfather. Nice sketch of the feather. Love your soft fluffy pizza dough and the soft clouds. Love dogs and they are men's best friends. Have a wonderful weekend.
