Thursday Art & Dinner Date: April 6th - Folklore

Acrylic Painting from October 2018: The White Lady.
A White Lady is a tortured ghost who died watching her loved one die before her in a horrific way. She is typically a woman mourning the loss of a lover or a child. She appears in the area of the tragedy and haunts it restlessly for eternity.

Hello Friends! 😊😊

April 6th's theme for our art and dinner date is "Folklore" (please visit my blog, Rain's Kitchen and Garden , on Thursday April 6th to post your link!).

What are the 4 types of folklore?

1. Material culture: folk art, vernacular architecture, textiles, modified mass-produced objects.

2. Music: traditional, folk, and world music.

3. Narrative: legends, urban legends, fairy tales, folk tales, personal experience narratives.

4. Verbal art: jokes, proverbs, word games.
