July 21st's theme for our art date is "A Poem" (please visit my blog, Rain Frances, on Thursday July 21st to post your link!).
The above painting is one that I did to describe a poem I wrote called The Apple Orchard. If you're interested in reading it, I featured it on this blog post!
This theme might be a little intimidating. Here's a tip: think of a line of poetry that you really love and draw an illustration to go with it!
If you've written a poem, please post your poem - no illustration needed!!! This is about creativity!
