January 27th's theme for our art date is "A Winter Night Scene" (please visit my blog, Rain Frances, on Thursday January 27th to post your link!).
I challenge you to create a night scene for this week's theme; using lots of shadows and soft highlights, showcasing the beauty of nighttime! If you are living in a Northern climate, you know how beautiful the snow looks at night in the winter. If you are in the Southern hemisphere, your nights during winter are sultry and filled with colour and light... how will you capture this? What is your idea of a winter night scene? Indoors?
