Yield: 1 x 8" cake
Ingredients

For the cake:
1 cup all-purpose flour (117 g)
1/2 tsp baking soda (3 g)
1/8 cup extra light olive oil (29 g)
1/4 cup peanut butter (55-58 g)
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (90-95 g)
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (140 g)
1 large egg
For the frosting:
1/2 cup plain yogurt (125 g)
1/4 cup peanut butter (50-55 g)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C, gas mark 4).
2. In a large bowl, combine flour and baking soda.
3. In a separate bowl mix together olive oil, peanut butter, applesauce and pumpkin puree. Add the egg and mix well.
4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir to blend.
5. Pour mixture into a greased 8" round pan.
6. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the cake springs back when pressed lightly.
7. Allow to cool on a wire rack prior to removing from pan.
8. While the cake is cooking, mix the yogurt and peanut butter until well combined. Spread over the cake.
Note: Let your dogs enjoy this cake the same day and refrigerate the leftovers to be used in 2-3 days.
