September 5th: Thursday Art Date With Rain - History

My watercolour Moby Dick - painted in 2016

Hello Friends!

September 5th's theme for our art date is: History. (please visit Rain's Garden on Thursday September 5th to post your link!)

September 5th...didn't the summer fly by way too fast??? I think it did, it's HISTORY lol...I think this will be a fun challenge. There are so many ways one can interpret this theme and I can't wait to see yours!

Here are some internet images to inspire you!

Cave Paintings

Edward G. Robinson - the long lost 1930's gangster

The Big Bang Theory

Scotland - where my ancestors lived

One of my friends had this type of cell phone when they first came out, back then we thought it was incredible!

  2. Wow, some of your drawings are mind boggling ... your talent seems to be endless. I will go reflect on my once decent grasp of history and see what remains for me to draw from. I love your challenges ... They make me think as well as create. More awesomeness :) See you next week :)

  3. Thanks Baili :) I am terribly afraid of flying! I'd love to visit Scotland but I highly doubt it will happen, too bad though!
