Settled in the Maritimes of Canada, surrounded by the forest and Acadian Mountain Chain, I live a simple life of gratitude. This blog is a journal of my art, food, furkids, garden, home, my life and my thoughts. Thanks for reading!

Philly Cheese Chicken Stromboli Filling:
- butter or olive oil
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 4-5 fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium chicken breast, sliced thinly
(sometimes I use pre-cut fondue chicken)
- S&P to taste
For both:
- Shredded Mozzarella
- Melted butter
- Parmesan
Directions:
1. Prepare your pizza dough.
2. Preheat oven to 375.
3. Over medium heat, melt butter. Add onions and mushrooms, sauté for about 5 minutes until they get soft.
4. Add your meat and cook.
5. Meanwhile, cut your pizza dough in half and roll out in large rectangles.
6. When the meat is cooked, remove from heat and let it cool a little bit.
7. Layer the shredded cheese, then meat mixture onto the stromboli dough. Carefully roll it up and seal the seams with a little water. Roll up the ends and seal with water.
8. Brush melted butter and sprinkle some Parm over the top. Cook, seam side down, for about 25-30 minutes, preferably on a pizza stone, if not, on a parchment-lined pan.
