The theme for this Thursday's Art Date is Drips Dots and Splatter. Please visit my blog on May 16th for the Art Date post and link gadget!! :)
I got this idea from watching You Tube videos on Acrylic Pouring. If you've never seen this, it's really cool, here's a little video showing how it's done:
Here is some inspiration for you (all images taken from Google):

ReplyDeleteOh I love this! So much fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Christine!!! I need that push too! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a lot of fun Laurie! :)
ReplyDeleteI seriously enjoyed that video on acrylic paint pouring. My only disappointment was that it was over in less than 5 minutes. But a fun 5 minutes it was! :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it look cool Becki? I'd love to try that one of these days!
ReplyDeleteRain,
ReplyDeleteThis is not at all what I was thinking but an interesting and challenging prompt for sure. I'll be thinking about this to see what I might come up with to play alone! :)
That's the fun part Cathy, we all have our interpretations! If you play alone, please post your art, I'd still love to see it if you can't make our Thursday date!! :)
ReplyDeleteyou again proved that you are AMAZINGLY TALENTED AND CREATIVE DEAR Rain :)))

Thank you Baili! :) It's going to be so much fun, I missed the art so much when I was so busy lately! :)
ReplyDeleteI have done pour painting. Takes a bit of paint but at the cost its not bad at all. I have had fun with it. There are a few things I want to try next but just have not done it yet....loving the drips, dots and splatters. Great job. Going to play along using a photo that I pushed myself to get. Sorry but it was not a recent one. Hoping its okay to play with an old pic and I don't have the other two......
ReplyDeleteI was able to do the Drip, Drop and Splatter....https://pam-lifethroughmyeyes.blogspot.com/2019/05/rains-challenge-drips-drops-and.html
ReplyDeleteHey Pam, The pouring looks like a lot of fun! When I eventually get my art studio, I'd like to try it out. I just don't have much room here for anything else at the moment! Btw, I have the art date post on my blog now if you want to put your link there! :)
