July 22nd's theme for our art date is "Your Favourite Decade" (please visit Rain's Garden on Thursday July 22nd to post your link!).
What's your favourite decade? Does it have to do with your childhood? Certain events that happened in your life? Maybe something that happened in a decade before your time?
Here are some internet images to inspire you. I could have included hundreds of photos, but decided to just go back a hundred years or so! And keep in mind these are all photos from a North American perspective. Maybe you have different ideas for each decade! I'd love to see them!
