January 16th's theme for our art date is: Jagged and Ice (please visit Rain's Garden on Thursday January 16th to post your link!)
I suppose I've been influenced by our weather for the themes in January! Ice can be interpreted either as a verb:
"icy" - a state of coldness or hostility
"to ice" - to bribe a person or murder someone, shoot your hockey puck from one end of the rink to the other, shelf an idea...or decorate a cake!
or as a noun:
"ice" - frozen water, a frozen dessert or even a diamond ring.
You can make your ice jagged, or you can forget ice altogether and concentration on the adjective "jagged": having a sharply uneven edge or surface or having a harsh, rough, or irregular quality.
Or you can just reminisce about the 80's while watching Ice Ice Baby. Hee hee, couldn't help myself!
Interesting possibilities! Here are some internet images to inspire you!
