Homemade Garlic Butter and Garlic Bread
Yield: 1/2 cup (150 g) of garlic butter
Ingredients
Directions
1/2 cup (150 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 tsp (3 g) salt
2 garlic cloves, grated
A spoonful of finely chopped parsley
Bread (here is my recipe for Overnight No Knead White Bread)
Directions
1. In a small bowl, stir together the softened butter, salt, garlic and parsley.
2. Let sit in the fridge overnight for the flavours to develop - or use right away if you can't wait!
3. Preheat oven to 450 F (230 C, gas mark 8).
4. Butter your bread slices, bake for 5-10 minutes until the butter melts. Optional: broil the bread to brown it a little bit!
Tip: To make this a vegan garlic butter, replace the butter with vegan butter and omit the salt.
