Fried Stuffed Olives
(makes 12 olives)
(From Martha Stewart Appetizers)
✎ Print Recipe
Ingredients
12 large pitted green olives
1 oz goat cheese
1.5 tbsp flour
1 egg white
Bread crumbs
Butter for frying
Directions
1. Soak the olives in cold water for 15 minutes. Pat dry and stuff with goat cheese.
2. In three separate bowls, put flour, egg white and bread crumbs. Dredge olives in each and set on parchment paper.
3. This recipe calls for deep frying, but I used butter in a frying pan instead. Over medium heat, heat up butter then place olives in pan. After 1-2 minutes, turn the olives and cover the pan.
4. Drain on a paper towel and serve warm.
