Yield: 24 rolls

Ingredients
4.5 tsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water (110 F)
1 & 1/4 cups warm milk (110 F)
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/3 cup brown sugar
1.5 tsp salt
6.5 cups flour
Directions
1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. In a large bowl, combine milk, softened butter, eggs, sugar, salt, yeast mixture and 3 cups flour; beat on medium speed until smooth. Stir in remaining flour to form a soft dough.
3. Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover with plastic wrap; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
4. Punch down dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide in half. Divide and shape each half into 12 balls for a total of 24. Place balls in two greased 13x9-inch baking pans. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 375 F.
6. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Serve warm.

ReplyDeleteThey're very nice Baili :) And so easy to make, but you have to eat them up quick because they go stale fast.
