Alex's Burger:
(makes 2 patties)
1. Grind up 0.3 kg top sirloin. Mix in 1/2 small chopped onion, 1 small chopped garlic clove, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Form 2 patties.
2. Heat up a frying pan on medium heat, add a pat of butter and fry the burgers about 6 minutes on each side. Watch to make sure they don't burn. I put the lid on the pan to help with the cooking process.
3. Place the burger on a pan, top with Swiss and Cheddar cheese and broil until cheese melts and browns a little.
4. Toast the bun and layer on the bottom: lettuce, tomato, the burger patty, bacon and two onion rings. No condiments necessary but ketchup and mayo would be good!
Rain's Burger:
(makes 2 patties)
1. Pound a large chicken breast to the thinness you like and cut in two. Season with s&p, dip in egg white and then in bread crumbs.
2. Heat up a frying pan on medium heat, add a pat of butter and fry the chicken for about 6 minutes on each side. Same as above, watch for burning and put the lid on to help with cooking process.
3. Place the chicken on a pan, top with Swiss cheese and broil until the cheese melts and is browned.
4. Toast the bun and layer on the bottom: lettuce, tomato, ham, the burger patty, and I use mayo on mine.
Serve with fries, onion rings or whatever sides you love. Milkshakes go great with this meal!
