April 1st: Thursday Art Date With Rain - Doorways and Alleys

April 1st's theme for our art date is "Doorways and Alleys" (please visit Rain's Garden on Thursday April 1st to post your link!).

This is going to be a fun theme. I think that there are so many ways that you can create a doorway or an alley or both! 

What goes through a door? How is a door decorated? What colour is this door? Is it a doorway to something beyond our understanding? 

Alleys...when I think of alleys, I think of places I don't want to be...they are dark and creepy and can be very dangerous. But then they can be lovely areas with cobblestone walkways and climbing ivy...what is in this alley? Who is there and what are they doing? Where does this alley lead?
