ReplyDeleteTo be honest... I only know him from a The Simpsons-episode....
Love your cup! And yay to your house.
Looking forward to my lunch break to check your videos (off to work now).
I'm so glad the house is fixed. Yes, they did a great job by looks of the photo. Videos look great. You are really making a lot of them. Good for you.

ReplyDeleteHurrah for the house being fixed and even more so that it didn't cost you any cash. That is always a good thing. And that is a great Herman Munster. I also love that show. It's such a fun one. It was good to grow up when there were some silly shows on TV-now all classics. And I haven't made banana bread in ages. Yours looks very yummy! I hope you've had a great week already and the rest of yours goes well also. hugs-Erika

First: Thank you for your nice comment, Rain. And of course for the hosting. We are - by the way - great fans of the Monsters.
ReplyDeleteWish you a very good time.
Hugs, Heidrun
Hi Rain, so pleased for you that the house is finished, cosy and ready to keep you safe from the elements. I haven't painted for a while as have had chronic arthritic pain in my hands, I saw a specialist this week and had a steroid jab in a joint which is helping immensely (I had put this off for 9 months as scared) so maybe my paint brushes can come out again soon. In the meantime I will enjoy visiting the other participants for the Thursday art date :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome post, Rain. So full of happy thoughts and food. Love Bugs as a chipped cup. Don't remember the movie, but I do remember the Munsters and Herman is one of your best. I guess he just lends himself to dark spaces, Ha! Your food, as always looks delicious and would love to eat it, though I am not much of a baker so I may not make the banana bread. The bean salad, on the other hand is right up my alley ... so I will be giving that a try. Sorry I don't have time to participate, but must get some Christmas things done before my kids go back to Thailand for the winter. I will keep coming and checking out the posts though :) So glad the house issue is resolved ... looks as good as new in the picture. Find some time to rest and relax, Rain. You are so busy and you don't want to burn out, right? BE WELL :)

Hi Rain. So happy you got your house corner fixed affordably. Love your art and Herman especially. You have captured his smirky side glance perfectly. I can just see him shooting that look at Grandpa or Eddie! LOL We have used your thin crust pizza recipe and it's delish. Never had 4-bean salad, but we frequently fix 3-bean with ranch style beans (pinto), black beans and garbanzo beans (chickpeas). I even made it one time with hominy when I didn't have any garbanzos and it was yummy! Have a good week! XOX
ReplyDeleteRain, I've not been keeping up with blogging or following my favorite bloggers for most of October, but I just checked back on back posts and think I'm relatively caught up with you. What a month you've had! So glad the damaged corner of your house is repaired. What a relief that must be. And I'm so glad you're having such success on your YouTubing! Very impressive. I hope you have a beautiful rest of October - one of my favorite months of the year. :)
ReplyDeleteYour banana bread, marinara sauce, and four bean salad all look so good, Rain. I’ll have to watch the videos on those. I hope you are doing well. And I hope you have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteYay to the house repair being done, Rain, and a double Yay on it being low-cost to you. That Jack Skellington mug is wonderful at this time of year. Your morning coffee-cino looked so good as did all the recipes posted and this week I will be making the thin crust pizza dough, so thanks in advance.
